Fire Island Skies I

You know that summer feeling where you're looking up at a vast, clear sky, watching the birds fly by as a warm wind blows from the beach? This is my attempt to catch that.

An 18x24 hand-printed relief monoprint (where a print has variations in its inking, meaning no two are exactly alike) of the skies over Fire Island in New York. The gradient and clouds vary from print to print – just like the summer sky itself. Printed at Shoestring Press in Brooklyn.
