I’ve always loved the way you can blend inks on a print brayer to make beautiful gradients. This is an experiment in bringing those gradients front and center in a bold, large-scale print. I can get lost looking at this piece, the way the flame red breaks down into the yellow, which is subsumed by the purple. It’s lively.
